Cleanroom is an environment with a controlled level of contamination (dust, microbes and aerosol particles), to prevent damage to a product during manufacturing. Think of microelectronics, semiconductors, or biotechnology, where a particle 200 times smaller than a human hair can lead to major and expensive failure.
It is important to eliminate and control contamination which generated by people, process, facilities and equipment in a cleanroom, in order to protect operators as well as the product itself.
